History rocked and rock made history
during a sold-out three-gig stand at
Madison Square Garden in late February 2008 when icons Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood performed a concert together
for the first time since their all-too-brief days in the legendary Blind Faith in 1969. Whether they will ever team again is unknown. But with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood Live From Madison Square Garden, on this Blu Ray, fans everywhere are able to experience the sound and the glory of a performance on that famous stage by two of rock’s greatest artists.

Are you into Pink Floyd?

Pink Floyd – A Momentary Lapse of Reason

Featuring extensive interviews with David Gilmour this powerful critical review tells the full story of the making of the album; process that was fraught with personal and legal problems. Also featured is an extensive interview with guitarist Tim Renwick – one of the few men to have played with both Waters and Gilmour.

Available for free on Amazon Prime. While Venice was an important concert, ant this contains the only footage of it I am aware of, the video quality is horrible, though audio is excellent. The interviews are fascinating. Given the audio quality, why was so little effort expended on the video? At any price, this is inexcusable, though at this price, few discs will be sold. By the way, historically, this SHOULD be footage of auto racing in Brazil. Where has that footage gone? For the rabidly dedicated Floyd fan only, and then those with deep pockets.
