Rofl, putting Hendrix alongside the likes of Lennon, Davis, Mozart and Bach? Hendrix was nowhere NEAR as influential as Mozart and it could be argued that Pastorius wasn't either... Hendrix and Pastorius never created a new form of music like Miles or Wolfgang did...

Well Weather Report actually likes this version, so I dont think they would say the same thing. In fact theyve actually done this with Manhattan transfer.

it sounds ok if you don't pay attention to the words they sing and just the notes

This song still rocks & the ladies still look hot. I think Jacko would approve. Some of the better music to survive from the 80's.

so true...this arrangement is a disgrace to the song and to music in general
mgzbt1 (November 15th, 2008 @ 8:28 pm)
this is a flat out joke this song was meant to be instrumental

This group took it to a place NOBODY else went. So unique, so cool.

Look at those shoes on the men, soooo pimp...man, the 80's were sweet.

while i prefer the weather report version, people who hate on this group need to get out. They took it to a different place, but it's by no means bad :/. faggots.
