In my very humble opinion ----Clapton is the greatest musician ever....he can play and write many different kinds of music---and does it all very well. Pure Genius.

I love this slow and laid-back version. But I still love the old 'full of passion' band version more.

(To 'montersmama') I normally object to calling children after some momentary fancy idea that their parents are 'into' at the time. The child - who will grow into an adult - will have to live with this name for the rest of their life - and may have to put up with being ridiculed. However, in this case, 'Layla' does make for a nice name.

Easy to SPOT it. Is it everytime he plays the G-chord on the guitar? It does seem that way but that's the right fingering to that chord.
