Woah. lol thats a lot more info than I needed to know, but thanks! Yep, I've looked up X Japan since then. He is quite a gifted musician.

he plays drums, piano, guitar, bass, composes the music for the legendary band X Japan. This is their last concert. In 1997. He does solo projects, he's in the supergroup skin. He recently turned 43, looks like a million dollars, has about 200 million dollars. Owns any drummer out their, well Akira Jimbo has better technique, but not as much passion. He owns Extacy records in LA. Has a house in LA. LOOK HIM UP. In most peoples eyes, he's a god. And he likes white wine and long walks on the beach

When I was just 10 years old I always watched him and wanted to be like him. It's not fangirlism, it's respect. I respect him from the bottom of my heart and for me he is always the most talented musician in this world. Forever Love, Yoshiki!!

The ending of Art of Life in Night of Destruction was like that because of his health problems. Personally I don't think that he is any big drama queen. Life just isn't easy on him. And Violet UK hasn't released anything, because he is such a perfectionist and he wants to make everything perfect for his fans. In my option if he would be a drama queen he would lock himself into his apartment and never play drums anymore because it hurts. Greatest musician alive. I still respect your option.

Neil Peart is just more fun to watch with all the jingles and bells thrown in. Yoshiki's style is more impressive though with how he agressively attacks the drum kit like a wild animal at times, lol!

Hes very technical but he seems to lack the song writing ability that some drummers like danny carey posses.

Yoshiki is the drummer of X Japan (and pianist too). He has also solo works. He plays drums and piano (and he played guitar at hide's memoir summit)

it's all about the style...there's no such thing as the best guitarist or the best drummer...everyone's got their own style it's almost senseless to compare and like u said "an utter waste of time"...and i hate ppl who thinks that speed is EVERYTHING when it comes to music...just because one can play faster does not mean that one is better...
