I sorta agree, MGS4 is sorta a style break as in there's a lot of shooting, but on the other hand I feel like Kojima wanted to end it all with a bang and oh boy what a bang it was. My ears are still ringing (maybe that's the music volume though).

to be honest, i think 3 was the best of the series. it was different but it still remained a stealth game. thats one of the things i didnt like about 4.way too many guns in it. and there was always fighting all around you. rather than you just like sneaking in and out. and in 3 his buttcrack didnt stand out so goddamn much.
