I assure you no cellos were harmed in the making of this video. My cello is a fine instrument that cost a lot of money. No way would I risk damaging it. Understand that a good cello is very sturdy. They have to be sturdy to last hundreds of years being used daily for gigs and concerts etc! And tapping the strings with wood pencils does not hurt anything either.

i never said i hated it, just dislike the mis use of such a beautuful instrument... it is very fragile and should be treated as such, the strings are expensive and so is the cello... whats the use of something sounding good if it ruins the instrument?

I enjoyed the music, but could really have done without all the psychadelics. IMHO it diminishes the music because your concentration is taken away from the music itself. Aside from that, the video is REALLY bad, unclear and out of focus most of the time, making the listener uncomfortable. I would love to see it again with just a plain black drape behind him.
