It's so funny how everybody complains about Labrie. Why funny? Because every cover of DT I've seen, the instruments have been pretty spot on except for the vocals which totally sucked balls! My friend, who sings Quuen/Boston/LedZep style, had the very same opinion you did about James; until he tried singing his vocal lines lol Nobody has the versatility and quality James has. The more you listen to DT, the vocals and understand James' misfortunes the more you'll appreciate him, even live.

Labrie is Dream Theater, just like all of them. Switch him to someone else and it would not be DT anymore. He has a unique voice and he puts his soul into it, very few professional singers do that. Don`t you people ever get tired of this discussion? It`s about time to let it go and enjoy the music.
