:) thats cool. I'm going to Japan soon, so hopefully I can see something YMO related or just buy any DVD/CD of theirs I can! Thanks!

Oh and a nice touch with this recent 2007 concert, some musicians even don ymo's original shirts with the 'ymo' logo all over it :)

Thank you Artstar, but i am just an old ymo aficionado ;)
I only put these videos up for fans such as yourself and maybe a few new listeners who might stumble on my channel (Has happened quite a lot). That said, as with anything, technology changed (look no Moog III here) although if you look at my recent HASYMO postings, they're still using there old 'Sequential Circuits' :) They had more yen to spend here and revamped the whole experience! & keep up with the 'times' at the same time :)

Hi Matt, thanks for your comments. Glad your enjoying them. Your correct about the HASYMO concerts. Mr sakamoto was a guest in there previous concerts (sketch show) in earlier 2000s. If you look at my recent uploads, all three got together and did a HASYMO concert as recent as 2007. Will be uploading more from that concert soon, including a welcome return of ymo's 'You've got to help yourself' amongst others :)

I can't stop watching these YMO videos! I read that they have done a few concerts as YMO or HAS, what do you think are their plans for the future? Any more concerts?:)

I assume the better technology around that time (live sequencers, playback systems, lighting/visuals) infatuated YMO to rely on those things, rather than have a full band playing along with them. Even though I like watching stuff like "live 1980" I also very much like this completely different updated sound of YMO in '83. Plus, they were at their peak of their career in '83 and decided to end it there...these were farewell concerts.
I think ymo1965 could enlighten us on this matter :D

What happened? I think they still did great with the music at this concert, but it doesn't seem to have the energy. Did something big happen between Winter Live 82 and this concert? Also, what happened to the guitarist, the rhythm keyboards and the guy in the back who messed with everything?
