at that time it was Mervyn doing it ALWAYS (Even in the album) Then after Merv's departure it was Claude and for some years now It's Dave who hit the very high notes (in Fly Away, this is another day, just in time, take 6 medley, so much 2 say etc) hope it helps.

ok who does the trill in this one. it looks like Cleude to me. Yet in later versions Merv looks like hes doin it. Do they alternate or something.

Take 6 always sounds good!!! Even though the great Merv Warren is no longer with Take 6, I personally don't think that Take 6 has lost a thing. As much as I love Merv, I think that people tend to overlook the contributions that Mark Kibble and Cedric Dent have brought to Take 6. With that being said, I think that Joey Kibble is doing a great job, and has come in to his own as a member of Take 6; but I will always consider Mark Kibble and Cedric Dent to be the heart of Take 6!

Men, this is absolutely awsome. I totally agree with dennis, Mervin's voice keeps the harmony together. Nowadays Joe has other advantages, but the group loose presence.
