Why the obsession with social ideals of beauty. The song is her gift to the world and it is beautiful. The myth is that she died by choking on a ham sandwich. A less dramatic explanation is that she died from a type of heart attack. The myth comes from the fact that a ham sandwich was found near her after she died. Apparently it had not been touched. Her legend should not be one of her death or of her girth but of her songs, and in that way I think she was very okay!
