I hope that one day when I grow up I can be a video game developer, because then I can share my ideas with other gamers just like me.

the fact is we wont be getting another OS with such a wiude range of software/hardware support for quite a while if ever and bitching about it wont make it any better. I for one, while having encountered problems with windows know that i isn; always the fault of the OS. Sometimes it can be user stupidity or hardware. Hell I'm still using hardware from the agp single core 32bit cpu era and i only one problem, my comp wont play games :\ Such is life though, things eventually break.

people that say that either have a computer hardware that *sucks* or dont know what their talking about. im use fed 9, deb & ubuntu 64 but MAINLY vista for everyday things like games, videos, pron. if setup right vista can run for years uptime!! only downside requires reboots after security updates n 64bit has issues with paging it racks up quite quickly with virtualization with vmware n such. never used mac due to lack of hardware support but if i could be proven wrong then im glad to try os 10

Let me explain : When you use Linux (or any variant of it) you "UNDERSTAND" the effort required in order to make an Operating system like Windows. You then come to realise that so many decisions went wrong in the process of making it, that a complete multi-bilion economy has been built in order to make up for all the problems users encunter with Windows. Like the rest of us, im forced to use Windows. So Im very suprised to see people protecting something so very far from perfect...

I am by far not a microsoft fanboy, but someone who actually has enough common sense to see the blatently obvious. I am a PC tech, go watch my why mac sucks video and you'll see my pc and what i use

I'm an avid linux user, but come on, vista *does* suck... I know a lot of windows users and they'ed agree.. sounds like you got vista pre-installed on your pc so you don't want to say anything bad against it. So did I actually, and it still blows. Even Microsoft admits that (not in plain english, but it's there.) MS fanboi.

I simply go with w/e is the best and vista is it by far
