Kyu Sakamoto, 坂本九 - Machikado no uta
BackFrom the fantastic movie called "Kyu-chan no Dekai Yume", 1967. Kyu's big love, Ai-chan get's engaged with her lover that just have came home from the sea. This makes Kyu-chan very sad, and therfore he sings "Machikado no uta" which translates as "Song of the street corner".
